I don’t think that I read any books in 2018 (what with moving across the world and getting married), and it would have gone the same in 2019 if not for my amazing sister who lets me access her e-book and audiobook collections. All of the series I read are fantasy and the Protector of the Small is young adult fiction. They are all great series but my favourite was the Stormlight Archive. Some readers may get impatient with how drawn out and descriptive it is, but I love the character development and picturing the various parts of the Cosmose world, especially the different cities. The author is envisioning ten books for the archive. I am looking forward to reading the fourth one called ‘Rhythm of War’ when it comes out near the end of this year.
Books read in 2019:
- Protector of the Small – One: First Test by Tamora Pierce
- Protector of the Small – Two: Page
- Protector of the Small – Three: Squire
- Protector of the Small – Four: Lady Knight
- Shades of Magic (Volume 1): A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab
- Shades of Magic (Volume 2): A Gathering of Shadows
- Shades of Magic (Volume 3): A Darker Shade of Magic
- The Stormlight Archive: The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson
- The Stormlight Archive: Words of Radiance
- The Stormlight Archive: Oathbringer
